Cycling is like anything else: if you do not do it right, you will not become accomplished and probably will not have much fun. Agree with that?

The following tip of cycling techniques and tactics is an example what we planned to have for your personal benefit and for your team as well. We will change information every other week after you submitted your training log. Each tip will have the number for your reference.

#1 - Tips of Cycling Techniques and Tactics

BRAKING:
If you have sew-up tires, you should be cautious about braking for a long time down a very long descent. Because sew-ups are held to the rim with glue, when you brake for an extended period of time the heat created by the brake shoe friction can melt the glue holding your tire to the rim and dislodge the tire and the tires possibly started to slide on the rims, ripping off the values.

The solutions to this are to brake at intervals and use the body that works against the air. Here is something interested to note. The riders at the Tour of Italy had a stage that started at the top of a descent, but rode to the bottom as a neutralized race.
