Mark Amable . . .

Mark was born hearing person in San Francisco.  Then he lost hearing due to genetic BOR Syndrome.  He went to mainstream school in Pacifica, California with speech teachers.  He has two deaf children who went to the CSDF.  He started to learn sign language when his son was born in 1985. He had never known about deaf schools or deaf culture before that. His kids are now 19 and 24. He had raced in AFM and has ridden his Road King for his commuting and pleasure. He now lives in Livermore so he is looking forward to having fun with the fellows of the NCDB.
