Distance:  55 miles

Type of Bike:  Road

Ride Classification:  Moderate to brisk (13-19 mph); Intermediate, hilly.

Climb Rate:  The total elevation gain is 4149 feet. Some of these roads will be utilized during the annual Fremont to Santa Cruz in October so it is a great training route.

Ride Leader:  Ethan Bernstein; If you plan to ride, please let him know at ethanab@comcast.net or text at 510-673-3386. Carpool with other riders is encouraged.

Safety:  Wearing helmet is mandatory.

What to bring:  Spare tubes, patch kit, tire irons, pump/CO2 inflators, multi-tool, water hydration system/water bottles, identification/money/medical card, and phone.

After the Ride Events:  There is a hearty English pub nearby where we can hang out after a ride.

About the Ride:  This is a drop behind ride meaning the group will wait for a minimum time at certain turning points before going ahead. Those who "RSVP" will receive a printed route sheet. There are several short-cut choices during the route so ask the ride leader if you plan to ride less than the full route.

Keep on pedaling!
